I got my stuff, except mulch blades. The mower guy doesn’t like them, you break a tine off and the blade gets unbalanced. My old set of mulch blades were missing tines, probably best to stick with the regular ones. I’m hard on blades, change out in the spring anyway.IMG_0591.jpg

Everyone is different. I didn't care for ice because I felt like it stiffened my lower back up too much, which impeded movement and ultimately made the pain worse. I felt my best when my back was limber. But there were times early on when nothing helped. Those were long days for sure. I can remember trying to simply slide out of bed and the pain was at my threshold. Sometimes I would get stabbing pain followed by the lightning bolt down my leg. That was diabolical. More than once I made it half way out of the bedroom only to lock up from the pain. I would just have to stand there for a few minutes.

On a positive note....to this day I can still lay my hands flat on the floor when I do a toe touch :D. Months of just hanging in that position letting the weight of my upper body do the work. I went from barely being able to bend to flat handing the floor over the months.

I was honored that you let me help a little when you did my transmission fluid exchange. Hand tightening that fill plug is an important job.

Well....even more impressive that you did it with a hand whittled wooden allen wrench.

I put some aggressive mulching blades on my neighbor's zero turn a couple of years ago. So far so good.

    Nice work R3.

Was your front plate intentionally "clearanced" for the winch cable or did that occur naturally?

EDIT: These are not my pictures. Both parts are Lexus parts despite that one says Toyota. I first tried to order them from my local Toyota dealer and the part numbers didn't work in their system. So I ended up ordering them from Lexus dealer on line

I "clearanced" it personally. It's not required (front plates) any more, but I've had those plates since 2006.
I'm nostalgic about it I guess.

at what point does a mower cross over into being a garden tractor and get big rear tires and an axle with lug nuts?
