Since I put my amber LED shtuff on, I stick with the basic bulbs too ... those whiter/brighter ones burn out too fast. Even convinced my wife too let me upgrade the Highlander to LASFIT's LED kit after she got tired of the hot halogens burning out every 3-6 weeks. I had to have her help me change them, 'cuz I couldn't fit my MooseMan hands into the tight space behind headlight housings.
BTW ... we've had the LASFIT Low Beam kit installed for a year and half with no issues ... solid product and easy install.

The wife got back Saturday evening from a 1000 mile trip. Was due for an oil change and a serious bath.

That car had 0w16 from the factory in it for exactly 1000 miles. Not a drop since then.

In other parts of the world the A25 and M20 engines are spec'd for 0w8/16 to 10w40. I could run 5w30 without losing a second of sleep.

Ok 'splain it to me, please. What's the reason for 0w20 over 0w16? Sumbitch calls for 0w16 and that's what I put in. Am I missing something. And please don't say "oil is oil."

OMGNA? Excuse me, I meant BOLOGNA, Bother On Lengthy, Oil, Gee Not Again? :stirthepot:
Meanwhile, back at the ranch... This afternoon Barcelona Red's side cubbies drain holes were sealed to prevent dust and dirt intrusion, followed by the tailgate seal from Extruded Solutions, Inc. of West Chicago, IL. ExtrudedSolutions.com and TailgateSeal.com for instructions and orders. Free shipping by USPS allows about a week. DeWalt jump box is charging tonight, so I can get the truck running. It's been in the garage bay since the first snow last year... Time for annual dealer maintenance... and their courtesy Hippo Car wash certificate, after I use a monthly coupon so the Diagnostic Technicians won't have to deal with a saw and sanding dusted rig (my neighbor uses his bay for some woodworking projects, and restoring an older Nissan PU, and offered to pay for a carwash. ) :hattip::cheers:
