'evening stocker-roonies. I had a trip to Mr. Tire yesterday morning after smacking a baby buck on Saturday night. I saw the big herd crossing the road ahead of me, plenty of room then this little straggler came zipping across the road, I swerved and nailed the brakes, he tried to flip a U-turn but it just didn't work out for him. I felt bad. A guy at the nearby intersection saw it and stopped. I pulled over about 20 yards ahead, I wasn't sure if I hit the bugger but I could see it flopping and such.. it was dead by the time I walked down to it. The guy that stopped was a NG MP, he called a buddy of his and he got there within 15 minutes and took the roadkill, so at least it didn't go to waste.

I got a bunch of deep scratches and marks on the bumper cover and air dam, but no visible sheet metal damage. The taco was pulling a bit to the left, the alignment showed that the toe was jacked on the DS, so they were able to get it within specs and I was on my way.

What did I miss? Fuel pump replacement?

That would get you stopped REAL quick where I live. Good grief I thought that is was bad when I squeezed 16' material onto my 10' trailer last year- those clowns clearly win the Darwin prize!

That was during the early days of Covid. So traffic was kinda thin and I didn't have too far to drive.

Agreed. This worked for a 250 mile trip from Indy to St Louis a couple years back.

I have a similar hitch/bed extender. Use it quite often for hauling 16' deck boards if I'm not able to arrange delivery. Works great!

Alrighty then ... I recall having this discussion with B3 quite a while ago.
What brand are ya'll using? Maxxhaul is the Amazon choice bestseller.
Ya'll have convinced me I need to buy one.

I forget the brand. Got it off Amazon. Mine does have that slightly angled bottom piece like on Bill's. Looks just like the one you linked.

That's as good as any, and likely 'better' than mine. I like angle (mine doesn't have it) I like the reflective tape and the flapping hi vis banner thrown in. Again, my Harbor Freight variant didn't come with those. For the once in a blue moon it's necessary, I'm happy with what I got, but that Maxxhaul looks like a weiner.
