I grew up in the Twin Tiers of NY and Pa. Southern Tier the town of Chemung, Chemung County. In the 70's and through the mid 80's you could still get your limit if you were willing to walk the hills. Not anymore and Pa. isn't so great either. Now there are homes where I used to hunt them. Pretty sure I shot the last ruff in Western NC so moved to Mn. Well it sure didn't hurt for a reason to move here.

Coated in shore lunch fried in bacon grease. Thanksgiving meal at the cabin a few years ago and will be again this year.



Because all great meals start with first you cook a pound of bacon. I bet even that chicken big mac would taste good if you cooked it in bacon grease. The whole thing that is. Maybe, LOL.

Fantastic day at the ice arena yesterday.
Grandson and his unified hockey team played the Boston Bruins alumni.

HUNTER being introduced



There alumni opponents and teammates. Depending on the situation lol.
These guys are BIG..


HUNTER scored 6 goals and had 2 assists.

Bob Sweeney centered a pass and Hunter nailed it.

Hunters final goal was a breakaway.
Went down the whole right side and did a flip shot



Went bouncing down the ice and the goalie didn’t handle it



Just about cried the whole time watching him.
With all his disabilities, it was a wonderful thing to watch.
Couldn’t sleep last night
