Getting into a stud(s) is preferable.

Unfortunately large round piece that needs to be centered over fireplace...and between studs...of course <sigh>

When a stud wasn't available for where my wife wanted it, for anything of actual weight, I've had the best result with these:

But what do I know, I put boxes on airplanes. ;) (disclaimer)

    Good luck.:fingerscrossed:

EDIT: I'd probably work out two or maybe three anchor points. :notsure:

I’ve hung some heavy ish ceramic pieces that had a cable on the back, no stud in needed spot. I just put up two wall anchors.

    Figures.

Can you mount picture hangers 16" apart on the top 1/2 and still mount in the space as planned?

I think that's going to be the plan.... it being round will simplify things.
I'll try to remember to post a pic afterwards

    Good morning stockers.

13 hours yesterday. Lift station down at one of my accounts and my entire service team balls deep installing 30 pumps at another of my accounts. Took some time but in the end I was able to go home and kick my galoshes off.

    what’d I miss?

Mike is putting a remote start on his Tacoma and Dennis is hanging something heavy over his fireplace. That pretty much covers it. :notsure:

Ahh yes. And I endorse your wall anchor recommendation. I have hung some truly massive shit with those anchors. They have a 200+ rating in drywall and my experience says it's legit.

This, my friends, is where your Redi-Whip comes from. Such that the plant manager was in arms reach all day going "kip, thanksgiving hangs in the balance!" That's simply process water with all sorts of diluted cream and mostly benign edible chemicals. And a billion of the little white tips that you push to dispense the stuff, ground into shards.
