First thing I thought of seeing that was telling Mrs. SpruceMica recently that if a woman says "Oh, I'm so fat" her friends be all " oh no honey, you're beautiful!" and if a guy says he's fat his friends are "I know five fat guys and you're four of them"

My apologies ... Smoke , Mark is on a quest to find a coffee travel mug that properly fits his Tundy cupholders. First world struggles are real. :cookiemonster:

So ... pretty much nailed it ... that is definitely a form of "goop." ;)

"Don't eat too much pizza" ... ok.
"Stop eating pizza" ... FO Doc, I might as well die.

Good morning stockers.. I'm just curious how many in here also have the 2.7?

Does that mirror have a frame around it? I was thinking some sort of french cleat made from a 1x4.

    upload_2024-11-7_10-6-26.png

A lifetime ago, I used to install new construction builders hardware. We used these types of drywall anchors to hang mirrors and anchor wire mesh shelving in closets/pantries. The drywall will fail before these things will strip out.

similar. Except that it was interior glass, such as shower doors and office partitions, and also mirrors. That French cleat solution is an excellent one, and they also make them from metal. It all depends on whether or not you can get 1/2 safely mounted on the object your hanging.

ok, so since there are at least a few anal retentive..er..obsessive compulsi...er...diligent maintenance types on this thread, I thought I'd ask. What's your process for dealing with this nook/cranny??? Don't want to lose that flap/gasket whatever the hell you wanna call it.

That simple? Really? For some reason it looked more insidious than that.

Is there a weep hole in there? Can I blast it with a power washer?

GB was supposed to be done today. Just received a call from the body shop. They busted a clip putting the front bumper cover back on. This clip holds that small fender flare extension piece attached to the bumper. Good on them for being transparent. New ETA is Mon or Tue.

Crevice tool has always worked for me. It'll get the big stuff. I then spray the cowl under the windshield and the water draining flushes anything that remains.

If it’s the one I’m thinking of I used compressed air to blow out that cavity. Lots of leaves, pine needles. Try to do it every year.
