    Ok I’m beat.
Ball repair is finished till I get recharged.
These things were horrendous to repair.
    IMG_8532.jpg

So, I decided to add a second ident dot. I needed to clean my set anyway and I wanted to practice some more. Maybe the second “eye” will help me find the pocket better. lol
    IMG_8535.jpg

Carol’s are lighter colored and show black marks easier. Decided to clean hers too while I was at it.
So good for another 2 months.IMG_8536.jpg

You know it. Although it's unlikely. Maybe lunch on Friday while they're still at work. If she's free and I'm out galvantin', I'm gonna hear about it.

Passed 72 hours postoperative recovery this morning, 25 days to go after Election Day morning's right side abdominal surgery. Doc marked the appropriate leg with a Sharpie, :itllbuffout: but I'll forgo a bowling ball cleaning to erase it and wait for it to vanish in the shower. Speakin' of sh't buffing out, quite happy to have my first BM this afternoon since outpatient surgery, and my first full day back home in my own bed. Grateful that the grandkids were good about avoiding the right side of my lap... (Left inguinal hernia was repaired at Providence outpatient surgery in Anchorage in 1991, and my neighbor said as we talked about our awaiting surgeries, "So you got the good poly mesh in 1991!") No heavy lifting, moving or pushing for 3+ weeks longer (or can I milk this for more?). The stock rig will have a bit longer wait in the garage... :oldglory::yawn:

They certainly are spectacular. Never fails, the best ones are when I’m heading home after a long night shift. Just not right trying to sleep after seein’ that.

32° in Eastern Connecticut this a.m.
We'll get a walk in this morning and then Mrs. SpruceMica is meeting her high school sports team mates for their annual get-together. Looking forward to a quiet afternoon watching the BC/Maine hockey game.

Had surgery several weeks ago so I'm still on "light duty" as it were. Paying someone to do my leaves felt so wrong.

So yesterday everyone in the neighborhood was burning their leaves, then it rained. I compost mine, too many reasons to explain. Our house and neighborhood smells like a fucking ashtray. I was really tempted to test my snow blower and generator, chainsaw & 6:00 am.

Hah, we are in full red flag warnings and burn bans around here. I was lucky to burn my pile of limbs a couple weeks ago when it wasn't so dry. Even then I had to watch it carefully o_O

My neighbor across the street, 30 ish, who is a cop. He caught the utility pole on fire burning his leaves in the drainage ditch, there were red flag warnings up for days. So much for situational awareness. His next door neighbor had to get his cable line replaced. Other neighbor is a firefighter, had to help extinguish the fire. No ticket issued, my tax dollars at work :annoyed:
