For Stock Rigs Only

For those of us of a certain vintage...who can remember going from store to store to find the right part, of the most mundane sort...a water pump. Brake calipers. Whatever. This here interwebs generation has done some things right.

This is an OEM NOS crashbar for a 45 year old Italian motorcycle with the original brand new mini fairings in factory paint. FROM 1978!!!! From a little town in the Italian alps. WTF??? I pulled the original wrap from the 'fairings'! Blows my mind this sort of thing can happen. They'll go on my most vintage machine.

Came in last week. Just had to share my enthusiasm. My Girlfriend was unimpressed.

Somehow I managed to score some rare vacuum tubes from a guy in Montreal. New in Box & WW2 era…..amazing.

B300’s…the vacuum tube that won WW2. Can use ‘em for a ton of things. Guitar amps included.

Happens all the time. Folks trying to get to the fire extinguisher. I like those fish eye lenses the real estate guys use. Makes 100sq.ft look like a 1000.

The reason for the cabinets are as follows.
The “uneven” in the cabinets is because of storage of my jack, pry bars , some of which are 6 feet long.
You will also notice a 6” piece of pine sticking out. The pry bars go behind that the “lock them” into the that area.
This prevents them from falling and hitting my truck or other things if I’m working in that area.


These 4 are for my bike helmets, cold ride gear, and special glasses.



This one is for my small charger/maintainer units and all the adapters plus, my generator bonding plug and specific extension cords..

Not really.
I get leaving the space for the long stuff, that makes perfect sense.
But why are those two doors hinged the opposite of all the others?

 

I’m OCD about being blocked, stopped, people stepping or pulling out in front of me and making me stop.
If that door is open and I need to get behind it, I have to stop and close that door. GRRRRRR.

It’s a Cross I must bear.

plus I would have to drill a hole to get the knob in the same position.
That hole would drive me insane
