Someone dumped a fancy coffee drink in the road in front of our house. There’s a raccoon lapping it up , dog is getting all worked up. This is an assumption, I picked up the Starbucks cup yesterday that some piece of shit tossed out there window. All in all it’s entertaining, it’s right under a street light, the coon is just chilling

Working for a couple days replacing this landing at the bottom of these deck stairs.
So much wrong with it all, but I digress. You can see they have heaved quite a bit. During demo, I discovered they were only being held up with one 2x4 partially resting on another 2x4 stuck in the ground. Just when I think I've seen it all.

    Good Morning Stockers
4°F feels like -3°F + a dense fog advisory. Did I win? ... doesn't feel like winning?
Been wondering what this La Nina Winter is all about since Randy's wife mentioned it Sunday ... it was in my "1440 News" summary this morning.

You would be correct. The handrail on right has separated from the post that had shifted. They're about 2" out of level (high on the right). I jacked them up and cut 2" off the bottom of the post and lowered them preservatives place. Had the bend the bracket a little for it to set back in, but it's much better now.

I replaced all the railings on both the upper and lower deck a couple years back. Used Cedar. Owner still hasn't applied any type of preservative. It's graying as one would expect.

Yep ... but practically no snow ... dangerous combination if we get a true negative cold snap with no snow blanket. :notsure:
Fickle Witch fickling ... apparently she also goes by some "La Nina" alias. o_O

Done! Did a slighty different configuration. More usable space now. Super solid now.

Just dropped the spare on the Tunny for tomorrow's undercarriage treatment. The mechanism/chain are like new. Spare had just a litte sand on top.

And was just checking tire pressure on the GB. The body shop totally installed the inner fender liner wrong. WTF. It's supposed to be tucked behind the actual plastic fender flange/lip (if that's what it's called?). They had it on the outside (like the Tundra is). The push pins were all in at an angle and not actually pushed in. Pulled the 2 push pins and got it in the proper position. A stern phone call was made to the shop manager.

    :annoyed:
