This car was an ex Avis rental car from out West so the OEM's were long gone. Drove it through a bunch of rain yesterday and couldn't see shit. Couldn't let mother drive it like that. To my amazement the dealer was cheaper than parts houses o_O

Just remembered I think I got a little under 2 years out of the ones on my first 3rd gen. The passenger side actually split on night going home :anonymous:

In my defense, we do go through more snow/ice than yous guys. I generally change them out every year. I just forgot about that one... :anonymous:

    Tree alarm.

Junction box with a 110 plug. It's triggered by a simple motion switch (the kind you use to activate a light when you walk into a room). It's powered by a nearby plug. I have a small hand vac plugged into it. It's neatly hidden under a chair.

As with most cats, our 3 have no tolerance for vacuums. It makes for a peaceful Christmas season for everyone.

We simply turn off the actual vaccum when we want to be in the room.

The girls, Juno and Helena just buckle. They're mortified of any vacuum.

Leo...14 pounds of muscle isn't really scared. He just doesn't care for the loud noise and will walk away from a vacuum. I don't have any good pictures of his sorry ass.

Me in my driveway this morning. It's above freezing now and rising so things should be melting.
