Major score at my local Advance Auto that's slated for closure in February. $39 for everything you see. Hadn't been there in a few weeks and just stopped by to see if there was anything of interest. I grabbed the last of the in-stock filters for the Taco and Tundra. No more inventory being added to the store

Yes sir. 30's today, nearly no snow and rain tonight through Tuesday.

 

30 here but that’s in the shade. Thaw should mean some gnarly potholes right soon.

 

Good afternoon. I'm behind schedule for today, I need to change the thermostat in the firewood truck, I can see on the temp gauge that it's not staying open, its a constant open/close cycle. I tried to find Stant as a brand name, it looks like they went away and now everything is 'Motorad'.

Any bad rattles/squeaks from the drawer system?

Same thing happened around here last month, a busy store is being shuttered. I grabbed some re-manned calipers for the Taco at $16/each ( $175 core charge per side) and calipers for the firewood truck at $7 each. I got some 2.5 gallon jugs of Rotella T6 5w40 for $25 each. I use it in the old T4R, the 3.4 likes the extra zinc in the additive package.

The store manager told me that they were also selling the loner tool kits at 80% off of the retail price.

 

I may head back down to see if they have any wiper blades that I'd be interested in, like Bosch.

 

Fluids as well. I found a 5 gallon jug of "Purple Stuff" degreaser for dirt cheap.

 

I walked the store and there were no fluids (that I'm capable of changing) in the viscosity that I'd need. Some oddball fluids, greases, etc.
