I was going to, but the wind cleared it off last night. Cleared off the truck too

Morning all.
Long day so gotta get my ass in gear.
Off to work, errrrrrrrr, hobby..

 

Just got some minor shoveling around the truck and VW and gotta clear the snow out of the truck bed. But, not bad. Neighbors lane didn't get cleared and I use it to turn around and back up to the house so that will be interesting.

 

Indy was paralyzed by Snowmageddon overnight Sun/Mon. 10"!! Lol. They're just not equipped. Nobody owns snowblowers etc. The Govenor called a state of emergency on downstate, where it started warmer and they got a nice blanket of ice. Offices were closed so I 'worked' from home but I also have a pretty good cold going. Generally just in the January Doldrums.

Tacoma Mike would like my message to another TW member who's ten minutes away, across the border. (In Idaho, we feel we need a passport to go much further north, west, or south. When the territorial governor decided to move the state capital from Lewiston to southwest Idaho's largest town (not Boise, but a mining town), he left during the night traveling through Oregon south in smoother terrain before turning east upriver.)
Yup, I told him I'd bring my nuts (two dozen long black OEM lug nuts for alloy wheels) less than my purchase price. Avoiding the downtown pine squirrels...

There are a lot of back, dark blue, etc on the return deck so, I have the setup for identification dots. Yea I went overboard and put two on mine. Others can’t say “I thought it was mine” lol.

Howdy, stockers! Windy and cold this AM, wind chill had it into single digits. Around 4 freedom-heihts... It's windy again tonight and not much warmer. I had a bit of a dusting of snow overnight ( 1 inch-ish) that froze to everything it touched. I drove the Taco into town this afternoon, you can't tell that it's MGM, it looks like a big salt lick block for cows.

 

It’s what they do here far too much. All out chemical assault carpet bombing creation with Salt. When things finally thaw everything falls apart including bridges.

 

Survived it. Unit was big enough for me to hide behind to help with the wind, only had the sun for a couple hours so my electric hot potato handwarmer saved me. Tweaker tenant chopped all the copper out of the building on his way out. Gonna be a fun one..

Up early for my 7:00AM appointment for bloodwork for my annual physical exam next week. It's always been great, so not expecting anything different.

 

New orthotics day for the new foot. Might just splurge & get a pair.

Decided just to cut into the grime on the “Christmas Balls” and see what I have to look forward to.

Cleaned the snow off of everything, used the leaf blower, 5” of fluff It takes a 1/3 of the time and does a better job, works great on the car.
