We're supposed to hit 44° today and continue the thaw that finally started yesterday. Then rain tomorrow that will hopefully help rinse things away. Then the temps bottom out again! Ugh. :(

There’s an RV show going on, $12 a ticket, greedy bastards. I have to pay them to try and sell me one. Maybe I’ll go look at new Tacomas for free :annoyed:

Doing some spring cleaning today. Trying to reclaim a room that was 80% storage and 20% gaming.

I've let it clutter up for too long.

We’re thrilled to announce the release of our HD Axles, designed specifically for 2005-2023 Toyota Tacomas, 2003-2023 Toyota 4Runners, and 2007-2014 Toyota FJ Cruisers. When it comes to lifted vehicles, increased stress on stock components can often exceed the original design limitations. That’s where the TrakMotive Extended Travel CV Axles come into play. Engineered for maximum durability and performance, these axles feature a sliding center bar that provides up to 40mm more travel than OEM CV shafts, allowing for superior articulation and movement. The CV joints also achieve an impressive 47° articulation angle, far surpassing the OE CV joint's 23°. Designed to work seamlessly with any lift kit that uses the stock axle, these HD Axles are the perfect solution to ensure your vehicle’s suspension can handle the toughest terrains and the most demanding adventures. Upgrade your ride today and experience the difference!

As the saying goes, "Out with the old and in with the new." Local Havasu resident Charles brought his 1985 Toyota Pickup to us in search of a reliable EFI setup. He’d been battling issues with his stock ECU, engine harness, and ignitor, and it was time for an upgrade. That’s where Tony and the Haltech 550 Engine Management System came to the rescue. With its advanced technology and included harness, this system is designed to provide a modern and reliable solution for Charles’s needs, resolving all the lingering issues and giving his truck a new lease on life. As seen in the photo above, this is the original engine harness that’s being replaced—a big step forward for this classic ride.

When was the last time you saw a 1983 Toyota Celica GT this pristine and full of history? This stunning ride belongs to Alain, a dedicated Toyota enthusiast from Miami, Florida. As the second owner, Alain acquired this beauty three years ago from Wayne, a well-known SCCA racer based in Georgia. Wayne spent nearly a decade building and racing this Celica, turning it into a true track weapon with a high-compression motor, fiberglass fenders, hood, and a lightweight design weighing in at just 2,200 lbs. Equipped with a W58 transmission and a 1979 rear end (chosen for its superior disc brakes), it features 4.56:1 gears for quicker acceleration and a welded differential to ensure both rear tires deliver maximum power to the track. This Celica not only dominated the track for years but even earned the title of State Champion during its heyday.

For Alain, owning this Celica was a dream come true, as racing and Toyotas have been a passion passed down through generations. Now, he hopes to share that passion with his son, Angel, by getting the Celica race-ready and introducing him to the world of vintage racing. Angel isn’t just Alain’s son—he’s the future owner of this legendary car and the team owner as well, set to carry forward the Celica’s incredible legacy. Together, Alain and Angel are working toward their ultimate goal of vintage racing, keeping the 22Rheritage alive and stronger than ever.

But this isn’t just about speed and adrenaline—it’s about perseverance and purpose. Four years ago, Alain was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Despite the shocking news, he didn’t let it deter him from his dreams. Instead, he’s turning his battle into a mission, planning to rebuild the Celica’s engine with LC Engineering parts and using it to raise awareness about prostate cancer. Alain regularly reaches out to LC Engineering for the best components to keep this legendary Toyota running strong and ready for action.

And there's no dispute over the viscosity, 5w20, 0w20, or whatever... We used to set the empties on a slant during our changes, and after some settling drain the last bit before dropping them in the trash. The quart jugs fit well. :fistbump:
Those '80s Celica GTs I thought were the best looking sports cars; it's those rear corner lights.

I've seen that trick. But I haven't bought M1 by the quart in 20 years. The only single quart I currently have is some Warren produced Meijer 5w30. But the top is much smaller and won't work.

    Good morning stockers.

I have a red Eddie Bauer mountain parka that only gets worn a few days per winter because it's so damn warm. It needs temps below 20° to be appreciated, so it's become the "measurement " of a cold day when the red coat comes out of the cedar chest.
