Wow @FlyingWolfe, that almost looks like my son's attic in Seattle. There was a ton on K&T wiring up there along with a crazy spaghetti mess of older and newer wires.

Oh FFS. And we're still a couple of hours away from sunrise. It's bound to lose another tick or two. This is exceptionally cold for us. At least there isn't much wind.

Local handyman i’ve dubbed ‘Hackasaurus’.. another lovely job. Hes still in an ongoing holding pattern with the code enforcement guy (Mark knows him) due to this particular cluster of a job he attempted, but I do love seeing the handy work whenever we go to that apartment. Jfc.

    M:wave:ring.

Still grinding away on this job. Replacing the sections of baseboard trim (pre-primed 1x5) and prep (lots of wall prep and to pull drywall tape/mud from one corner and redo) took 2 1/2 days. One long 16' piece of baseboard trim that was a cracked and separated from the wall only had 3 nails. Geesh, I wonder why there was so much old caulking on top! Got started on some painting yesterday though. Did ceilings in breezeway, bathroom, LR and a small part of the kitchen where a faux beam separates it from the rest. And got trim done in the breezeway and bath so those are ready for walls.

Kitchen ceiling this am (lots of plastic to hang) and remaining trim. And hopefully a coat (same color) in breezeway and bath. Those small rooms take just as long as large it seems.

    Carry on....
