Good morning. I need to go to horrible freight to get a hand held vacuum pump, I need to test the front actuator on the T4R.

    I liked these better.

Yes, Annapolis. 'Naptown because it's a "sleepy little boat town" or because the Merry-lund capitol is located there and the politicians are all asleep at their desks, depending on who you talk to!

Makes me think of going to the movies as a kid with my grandmother and later as a teenager in the mid 80s on dates.

Is this a transmission cooler in front of the radiator?

    No. I believe that’s an A/C condenser

I'm also pretty sure they did away with the external transmission coolers around that time in those trucks, just like the Tacoma's. Even with towing package.

Good Morning @Tacoma Mike and Stockers

If I may ask, what causes a throw out bearing to "grenade?" Just curious ... I accept "shit happens" ... just didn't expect this one. :notsure:

... granted, I haven't babied this truck, I use it for what I bought it to do.

    It’s mechanical, yes shit happens.
If you are talking about your truck, I would change the snout also if possible or measure it against factory specs…

Thanks Mike, doing a full clutch replacement, the fork was making contact causing further damage. It failed while I was out at cabin Thursday. I drove it out and back to my house. I assume the "snout" would be part of the deal; or do I need to ask specifically?
    Thanks again.

Yea the transmission snout on the trans has a habit of wearing causing noise and chatter. Not all the time but, while it’s out, if it shows wear I’d replace it. Not part of a clutch job.
