I'm allergic to penicillin...it is the most common reported allergy at 10% of the population. That said, medical research shows that this number, based on self- reporting, is likely inaccurate and 1% or less is more likely to be the true number. Mine was diagnosed 60 years ago...so makes me wonder. Vaguely remember breaking out in a rash.

In other unrelated news...I filed my federal tax return this morning setting a new personal record for earliest date. Not expecting to win any prize though...

Same but I kinda knew it. I’m allergic to eggs, specifically the yolks. Penicillin back then was developed through egg cultures. I was 9 when I had my last egg.

Is it difficult to avoid eggs in food...baked goods, that sort of thing? I've never really thought about what typical foods would contain eggs.

I’ve got no hope. I’m Celiac as well so breakfast is almost a non issue. Food isn’t really fun anymore but that’s only if I’m out. Cooking at home is the only way I can stay safe.

So what's everybody up to this weekend?

Tomorrow I'm going off-roading in northern New Jersey (hard to believe but there are trails) with CT and MA Tacoma World guys. It's strange to be on a trail in what seems to be nowhere, get to the open high point, and see the NYC skyline off in the distance.

Saw a container train go by yesterday. I’d sure would like to hire the Folks that tagged that. Absolutely beautiful work but gone in a second. Wish I could have got a pic. :pout:

Yup, I have that as a station.

My favorite Garcia music is the bluegrass that he did with David Grisman and Peter Rowan. Old & In The Way was the bands name.

Good stuff. I've seen Peter Rowan a couple times at some festivals.

Wrapped up this morning. Entire first floor was a dull yellow color. You can see it in the upstairs hallway looking down the stairs. Other than the blue in the bathroom and breezeway, 2 coats were needed. Did ceilings, walls and trim. Significant drywall repair and replaced about 50' of the baseboard trim. Used a 2x12 plank & ladder to reach the walls & ceiling in the tall stairwell. Almost 8 days of work.

    Kitchen
    Bathroom
    Breezeway
    Bathroom/Laundry
    LR
    DR
Stairwells to 2nd Floor and Basement

They were very pleased as they were home for 2 days this week.

    @FlyingWolfe

Upon reinstalling all of the outlet/switch covers, all screws are now vertical.
