Buy a case of shear pins and several cheap 10mm wrenches.

 

I have several 10mm.
They aren’t cheap.

 

You want cheap ones because you'll only need them when the driveway is half way done and your hands are frozen and it's turning to sleet and you just changed the pin for the third time and by God you're not going to try and find the one you just dropped...

I kid. But having done a few years of commercial snow removal I finally made a little kit with cheap wrenches, shear pins and nuts, and ziptied it to the blower so I wouldn't have to look for it when I needed it and didn't have to cry about losing a nice one until spring.

It's different when it's your house, of course

 

I also quit moving snow for work. There's better things to do...

I use to buy cheap wrenches when I had to modify one for a specific job. That one bolt.
I did commercial plowing for years.
I think you should have reassessed your snowblower technique when your breaking shear pins for the
3rd time in the same storm. lol..

Small, day job today for a long time friend/customer. Old Farmhouse with nothing square/plumb. Lined this shallow closet (105"H x 50"W x 17"D) with locally milled white pine shiplap and added some shelves. Attached with liquid nails and brad nails (hidden behind the shelf cleats). They were going for the rustic look.

 

Looks like it's perfect for that house. Love the old radiator.

 

It's a nice match for sure. About 6' over is another one that's similar, but there's a door in the back going into the front entry hall. It's got one of those cheap mdf shelf units in it blocking the door. We're going to explore options like removing the current pos shelf and the door and having open shelves on both sides. There would have to be some clever trim work to tie into the trim around the door. It's beautiful old stuff that they want to keep.

 

I love old New England houses. I grew up in a log cabin and there were lots of old houses in the neighborhood, some of them 150+ years.

It's cool that you're keeping the style and form of the old work. Thumbs up.

 

My neighbor's house was built in 1776. I've had lots of practice.
