Walked in to the Stihl dealer today with my tail between my legs. The clutch is toast, please repair, I’m a little hesitant in making the repair, take spark plug out and stop the piston from moving by sticking a tool into cylinder. Above my pay grade and comfort zone

I've done it by sticking rope in thru the plug hole...stops the piston without the chance of scratching the cylinder

Yeah I saw that, I have extremely bad luck when it comes to stuff like that, the vid showed a tool that goes in the spark plug hole, was going to buy it and give it a go. Chickened out at the last minute and opened the trunk. The guys at the shop kinda like my saw and said keep it going as long as you can. Kinda know the owner and the repair guy, they never try and sell me stuff, replacement saw about $900, I don’t know.

Barely but on the mend finally. Down for five days. My husband just got it and is on the downslope unfortunately. Sharing is caring. :(

Earlier this week, I went to the Toyota dealer to set up next week's appointment for regular service and read the stickers on the huge Gen 4s and other models with the iForce... 2.4 liter gas hybrid...

Today's email from LC Engineering (excerpt): That’s where LC Engineering steps in. Building on the success of our 2RZ and 3RZ supercharger kits, we developed a bolt-on roots-style supercharger kit specifically for the 2TR engine. Like always, we put it through real-world testing—multiple kits, multiple vehicles, and months of feedback. Just as we were ready to release, Magnuson redesigned the blower body, changing critical pulley placement and forcing us back to the drawing board. We retooled, redesigned, and re-tested everything with the new Magnuson TVS 900 housing—and the results have been worth the wait.

Not for the DLT Tacoma... we don't go that fast, but we get where we're going. Like Mike, we like Life (the cereal, too).

I'm really enjoying every weekend being a soaking mess this spring, the gardens are still in Winter Mode and I haven't been able to clean them out or do the super wash of the truck that I've been looking forward to. I get other stuff done but I've been looking forward to a few particular things which have been hard because of the weather. :rain:

Yarp. Still cheaper than buying a newer truck though (by like $30k). We’re both surprised, his wheel bearings with 315k on them are still smoother that a new jar of skippy. Crazy.
Hes replacing basically every part you see laying around. Has all the new stuff laid out and ready to go.

The VA sent me a thingy to electrocute myself with in hopes that my sciatica and numb lower extremities will heal from my herniated disc bs from last summer. Sitting here with electrodes on either side of my lower spine, cranked to 11. :rofl:IMG_1597.jpg IMG_1598.jpg
