Unless the workers are union, most dealerships, garages will just let people go. If it not working out. It would be a waist of time going through the interview, training process. if it doesn't work out.

This is why a thorough background check is so important these days. Most dealership on this area won't hired any unless they come from another dealership with years being at one location.

When I got hired at a Mercedes dealership. They were up front on what they expected out of me. Instead of me trying it out I decline the position. The only reason I applied for the job is to learn how to work on German vehicles, instead of American, Japanese. I guess it a change of pace. They wanted me to work on used vehicles and older Mercedes. I wanted to work on new Mercedes. The dealership think techs needs a engineering degrees to work on the new Mercedes. I went to a Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche dealership instead. Great place to work for.

Hopefully selling the T100 today. Would keep it as a camping rig if I had more parking. I want my garage back to put the Tacoma inside.

Evenin everyone. Gorgeous day here....sunny and 79°. Got a bunch of yard work done, cleaned up Mama's Corolla, made a trip to Lowes, and took a 6 mile bike ride with my youngest daughter on one of our rail trials.

    Great day!
