After over 10 years I had to pull the sweeper out of the shed to try and calm
    down the falling...
I usually just do a mow and go but it’s so thick this year have to clean up before I mow.
Rearranging the switch over procedure to accommodate this ....
So FF Spray begins next weekend. Lots to do..

Front shocks are changed, taking a water break. About an hour and fifteen minutes by myself isn’t too bad.

One of the rears had some fight in it. Top nut seized to the shaft. Insert sound of grinding here. Ended up cutting the boot and grabbing the shaft with a pipe wrench after cutting a slot in the nut to relieve pressure.

All done. Has a very different feel to it vs the factory Tokicos (I thought SR5’s had Hitachi?) First bump just gets soaked up in the suspension and settles down a half second later. Much less jarring.

I also discovered I had a front shock and a rear leaking oil. That explains why they felt so bad.

And, the truck did pick up a little front height. Not a lot, but closer to level. Have to get it on level pavement (my driveway has one heck of an incline) to see for sure but it isn’t squatting thank God.

Considering picking up a used Toyota Matrix for commuting to jobs. Will keep the Green Been for bringing tools/equipment to the job site. Need something with much better gas mileage.

Any major known issues with the Matrix. Looking at 2010, 2011 or 2012 model years.

Any other models I ought to be considering? Yaris? Did that replace the Matrix?

    Yea..
Like most rusty shit. Watch out for awd. Severe rust will prevent you from working on fuel tank and driveline

I think by those years they had moved away from the 1ZZ (Corolla) and 2ZZ Yamaha engines in favor if the 2.4 Camry engine.

The Yaris replaced the Echo. The Matrix was marketed as a Corolla hatchback
