Normal rotation is 4 weeks on 2 weeks off but I always take time off to try to work a even schedule

Hello again, back for my 3 month check in! Glad to see this thread thriving! I've decided to start shopping 2nd gen tacomas...

My favorite fishing/kayaking spots are at least half an hour away and the ol' 96er isn't a great highway truck, to say the least.

Gotta be a 2.7 manual 2wd. Drove a couple, an '06 and an '09. The newer 2.7 is a really different engine than mine. Quiet, smooth, and noticeably more power.

Peace and good health to all!

My Pops had a 2.7 access cab, drove it a handful of times before I got my dual cab 4.0. I never felt it really lacked power to be honest but the 4.0 does definitely have more grunt especially with the extra weight of a dual cab.

    Happy hunting.

Oh, I'd love to have the 4.0. But price is a major factor and all the ones with decent mileage I have seen in my price range have been the 4 cyl.

Howdy Anthony. I owned an '09 and '13 2.7, 2WD, manual. No complaints

Completely understand. I had to get a dual cab to fit my daughter in the back. Access cab is a little snug for regular backseat passengers. All dual cabs are V6’s.

It was out of my price range for a lot of years too. Get what you can afford and not be crushed by debt. Trade up when you can afford to later.

Not yet, but Auburn so far is where I found them. I usually only deal with Boch, as that is where all my Tacoma's have come from.

Does Boch price match other dealerships?

The closest Boch to me are like vultures towards other dealerships.

I have always gotten my best deal with Boch in Norwood. When you go to the back lot, they have tonsssssssssssssssssss of vehicles. Remember cash talks
