Spent the day replacing every light fixture and smoke detector in a rental property (not mine). Good $$. Doing the same in another tomorrow.

And installed a storm door on another property.

 

Tripped with a chainsaw today, luckily saw it coming and let off the gas right before it hit. Typical Monday, honestly

 

Lucky!!

 

No kidding. Have been cutting firewood since I was 13 and never had an incident. Leave me unattended In the woods for an hour and BAM. Only a couple chunks missing from the leg so it was a good day.

 

I switched to these a few years back after a similar close call. Elvex Arbor Pants. I hate wearing chaps.

Sheesh! If that was me, I would be away from the forum for a lot longer than I usually am...be missing a limb too. Glad you're still with us and in one piece.

 

Thing that kills me is we have kevlar chaps at work. And I didnt wear them because I hate them and theyre too big. Oops. Didnt know they made these though, good to know

 

There's no harm in wearing the chaps. Mark @Sig45 wears an assless version of them every time he cuts wood. Scares the kids....but the chicks dig it.
