Ok, I'm finally about done with ubj's, lbj's, and outer tie rods. All that's left is attach the lbj's to the outer tie rods. Obviously I will need an alignment.

So how do I get the alignment close? The steering wheel was not straight when I started and I have moved the hubs all over while working.

My best guess is to turn the steering wheel to center and straighten the hubs as close to center as possible, then attach the outer tie rods. Any better ideas?

That's about all you can do. Just no real way to dial it in.

Thanks. I have about 5 miles to drive to the nearest place that does alignments so halfway close should be ok.

Yeah. Just take it slow. When I replaced the outer tie rods on the daughter's Yaris I did just that....eye balled them

Just read most of the article in Motor Trend comparison the Taco TRD Pro, Colorado Bison and Jeep Rubicon Gladiator.

Taco finished 3rd, the Chevy 1st.

But that's not why I bring it up. I point it out because that damn Jeep was $61,000!!

    G'mornin' stockers.....

Got back from 650 miles on the bike runnin' around PJT's hood. Dear God. That is beautiful country. Wish I was a GoPro dude, because the riding and the countryside are truly amazing. Weather was a little on the warm side but I won't complain. Rain would have ruined it.

Hope your weekends were spent appreciating all the time and money you were NOT spending on the truck.

Same here. We accidentally left the gate open just enough for these 4 to sneak in.
