At least out of Evansville there’s some topography and St. Louis in your future. 74 to Davenport will have you questioning your life choices, cuz once you hit Davenport, the fun part is over...except for the worlds largest truck stop of course.

In April of this year I made it to Indianapolis to catch the start of US 136, which ends in central Nebraska
The drive thru IL on 136 was mind numbing, but Missouri was epic hills that were dangerous at times

I have yet to find out. I use the 1/2 inch every time. I've only come across two lug nuts that wouldn't take off, and they required a 6 foot breaker bar with two people jumping on it...

My friend's shop they prefer the cordless impact, ratchets. Their replies was is, it's quieter, they can talk to customers on the phone or in person without talking over the compressor. They not going deaf. Lower electric bills. The cordless tools can do almost everything that a air tools can.

At that time the cordless tools were quite expensive, compared to now. They wouldn't let me touch anything.

Looking at the 3/8" impact specs, with 450 ft lbs of torque it should be able to break lug nuts free. I can see where the 3/8" impact would be the most common impact use around the vehicles or around the house.

I'll reply the same as in the other post.

With the 3/8" impact having 450 ft lbs of torque, it should be able to free up lug nuts.

The only time I had issues removing lugs nut I had to use a 3 ft breaker. Then use a jack at the end of the breaker bar to lift the the bar to unloosen the lug.

That may be a newer iteration than I’m using. Not sure the rating on my model. It’s got some miles on it....
