Pretty chilly here this morning too. Looks like some decent temps in the next few days though.

Yup about the same temperature here. Only thing I NEED to do is wash off the nasty truck! Gonna need a two part process, hose off the underside first in the self serve bay and then take it through the touchless that has the undercarriage wash as well. Gonna be one cold mofo!

Sometimes I'll do a quick hand wash on the outside then take that through a touchless wash with an undercarriage blast.

The ladies peeked out their chicken-door this morning and promptly about faced and went back inside. Can't say I blame them.

I'm doing my best. I love Fridays... out at 3am, back in at 9-10am to do maintenance with day shift for eight hours.

My word, after about 20 hours straight you're no good to yourself or anyone else..
We used to have to pull 'superman watch rotations' on the ship. 30hrs awake. I mean, mostly awake- I don't remember a lot of it. 2am all the way back around and past the following 2am and into the morning. We were short handed for engine room watches and I was the only fueling officer on the ship so while standing watch I was also adjusting and filling ballast and fuel tanks so we didn't end up dead in the water or upside down. And everyone wonders why I'm such a ray of god damned sunshine.

After 16 hours I'm no longer considered liable for any accidents/mistakes under osha. So we work 12 hours then get "8" off before coming back in.

Peening some chain together at work and my boss goes "Hey grab the peener!" So I grab the biggest peening hammer we have. Bring it to him and he goes "No not that one, my little peener!" Needless to say, myself and others had to take a 5 minute laughing break.
