Evening folks! I’ve got a question.

I was driving through the hunting camp today and decided to use the 4x4 because I know it’s good for the truck to use it every once in a while (even though I haven’t used it in 9 months, never had trouble with it).

I came to a complete stop, put the truck in neutral and then turned the sail to 4 Lo. The 4 Lo light started flashing and the truck started beeping and wouldn’t stop. I repeated the process and it kept on doing the same thing. I was also on flat ground.

I tried searching for this issue but only found it for MTs. Mines an AT.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Can’t go from 2wd to 4 low. Ain’t gonna happen.
2 hi to 4 hi to 4 low.

I’ll have to try that. I could have sworn the last few times I used it I just switched it right past 4 Hi and into 4 Lo and didn’t have any problems.

How long will I need it to sit in 4 Hi before switching it to 4 Lo?

Just picked up my truck Saturday and been reading up on all the 4wd stuff since we got 8" of snow and my driveway is hilly and twisty.

What I read and found to be true, switch to 4hi while moving. Stop, put truck in neutral, then switch on 4lo. I found of it keeps blinking in 4lo that I need to turn the wheels and move a bit before engagement happens.

Once it’s in 4 hi, then you can stop and do the 4 low shuffle..

Does it perform like Windows 7? Whatever I get, just have to get use to it.

The end of support for Internet Explorer is August 17, 2021

To be honest, I don't really remember much of a difference as I upgraded to Windows 10 a while ago (as in years).
