And to clarify I have no issue with upgraded suspension, I plan on doing air bags in the future myself

Oof, yeah that weight distribution is not good. I'd bet you had close to the limit for tongue weight if both bikes were in the front. Better it was front heavy than tail heavy though.

    zackly.

    2 600 lb bikes
    2 (shitty) unmounted wheel chocks
4 tie downs at the extreme corners of the box.

recipe for a disaster. Fortunately I've got mad strap skills (no comments from the peanut gallery. thanks)

Somehow, I misunderstood the statement "Yeah, I've got an enclosed 2 bike trailer!" o_O

I'm wondering how many guardian angels were following this mobile catastrophe waiting to happen going "I think I can cover this, but just in case..." and calling up more friends. Glad you made it safely!

    Any damage to the bikes?

Can I comment about your beefy rear-end then? :D

And I feel you on the being short part. ATM's and car wash kiosk are my sworn enemy. I have to open the door and lean out no matter how close I get. Also at work since I'm pretty much the shortest I get to climb inside every damn thing...

Ok, I seriously just giggled like a school girl at that

Me personally, I have Hank Hill ass so every time someone calls me and asshole at work I'll turn around and say "no, just a little ass!" Then it goes into a 1/2 hour debate over ass sizes. If HR would be around for half of it we'd all be gone

Working in a sawmill on night shift, I think half the stuff said over the radio would get us all fired. Luckily there's no one in the office to hear it

I totally get being the gopher, I'm by far the youngest and smallest millwright on nightshift. At least with my truck ATMS and drive through's are easy as pie. I'm almost having to reach up instead!

Yea we don't dare say anything "off color" on the radio as operations can switch to our channel at any time for an assistance call. But the in person conversations would get us sent strait to HR if we got heard by them. It's all in good fun and keeps the day interesting. The jokes about my "lifestyle" get even more hilarious when I bark back and they just look at me all confused and walk away while everybody is standing around rolling around with laughter :rofl:We even get the managers in on it and most time they're like "Ok, just wanted to let you all know this conversation is inappropriate, but please continue"

If by lifestyle you mean owning a Tacoma... yeah we get weird looks everywhere! Me more than others here in Maine. I went to get sandwiches with the better half yesterday, parked next to a lifted first gen. Out of the 15-20 people that walked by, my truck got alllll the attention.

The axle on that trailer beinging so far rearward contributes to the excessive tongue weight. And yeah.....slowing down and dropping her down to 4th is the right thing to do.

Glad all the pieces and parts are safe and sound.
