those seem nice, but there are options. I settled on this because it allowed me to keep a locked bed for all the accoutrements.

I've carried ladders and stock aluminum extrusions as well. Definitely has a limited weight capacity when compared to your Thule, though.

    Certainly not. Was being facetious.

Plus - racks are in the "accessory" category.

I've had one Jeep in my life, a bone stock 1974 CJ5 when I bought it, one owner. When I got done with it, it had a 350 with an SM465 trans and an NP205 transfer case, full width 3/4 ton axles and I cut it through the doors and stretched it a foot to get the trans in. I wish I had the money back I spent on it, lol.

Damn, I go to work yesterday and miss all the fun. I randomly check my phone and shit starts blowing up, but couldn't play...

In other news, coming up the street last night and it's flooded, everywhere. Hmm, ok? Did they do a fire hydrant test? Water pressure was slightly lower when I got inside the house at 11:45pm, thought maybe the test got dirt stirred up and is starting to clog the filter. Managed to shower without much notice. Woke up at 4:30am to take a leak, flush the toilet and it's just trickling. Ah shit, broken water line... Grandmother knocks on the door kinda freaking out at 9:30am that she might have a broken pipe. No gramma, look up the street. They're tearing it up as of now. Of fuggin' joy... I hope I can atleast get a shower tonight. Hope you guys have a better day...

And if that wasn't enough when I still had the Jeep I decided to do the same thing to my 1988 stock Toyota except it got a Dodge 318 and drivetrain :frusty:

If you had the money back that you spent on it you wouldn’t have all those killer memories and stories of having had owned it. That’s what life is all about after all..

    Love it!

    LOL
    I like your style.

I spent my younger days on muscle cars.

My prize possession in my early 20’s. A 1969 Ram Air IV GTO. Super rare car with that motor. Only 759 made with the Ram Air IV motor in 1969. Pretty much owned the streets in the early 1980’s when I had it. Old photos taken at that time. A below zero deep freeze in Colorado for two weeks. First warm enough day above 32° I pulled it out of the garage and washed it. My brother was visiting from California and this was his first time seeing it. He had to get some photos. I didn’t realize it at the time but the drivers side rear wheel was sitting in a rut in the dirt driveway. Hence the more than jacked up stance showing in the photos.
