Some people don’t believe me when I say the starter is under the intake manifold.

 

I’ve heard of that on the land cruisers. That’s a stupid place for a starter!

I always dress for the air temp and throw a rain jacket over top for the wind, helps if you you have one with zippered arm pits. I like Eddie Bauer's stretch rain jacket, just don't pay full price. There's always a 40-50% off sale around the corner.

 

I do have a lightweight Simms Gore-Tex shell for an outer layer if needed.

 

I’ve been out for a minute, busy with life. Popped the hood to change the idler pulleys and belt today while short ribs sit in the slow cooker.

 

I go to sleep for five hours and there's five new pages!
