Hesitation, rough idle, shitty gas mileage. It's definitely exasperating the torque converter shudder as well.

The earlier comment of "give it the beans" would be what I grew up calling "the Italian tune up" which funnily enough, has worked for me on a few different motorized things with some success.

The thought is that ringing the piss out of it for a few seconds (or longer) will burn away and blow away any carbon/crap build up and clean things out. Or you rapidly find the weak spot and don't have to worry about tuning it up any more.

@Delta09 important work related question. Do you hang up your bondage gear where everyone can see it? Or put it away away from public view? D7215640-2777-4A20-B47F-CA8B5D003CB9.jpg

Good morning Bill and co. How’s the weather in Kentucky? Rain/sleet/ice here. About slipped on the steps when I came out of the house.

Thankfully no more ice. We got about 3" of snow. That's manageable....especially since it's warmer this morning and the salt can do it's thing.....clearing the roads and rotting frames

I've got a friend that goes out to the Salt Flats for the races every year, and he spends a couple of weeks helping friends with their cars during the races. When he comes home his car is caked on the bottom with salt. Chunks of salt.

He comes home and places a sprinkler under the car and lets it run for a couple of days to wash the underside of the car. Did that for twenty years and just sold the car with no apparent damage a couple of years ago.
