That is one clean truck! Very nice rig. If my back window sticker doesn't disqualify me, you should be fine

Got all the Christmas decor down inside and out. I'm gettin' too damn old to haul all that shit to the attic.

I'll be going with Akebono when the time comes.
Interesting side note...I never had to change brake pads or shoes on my 2nd Gen; 124k miles when I traded it on that stupid Ram.

Coming up on 70k. At that time I will check them again when I rotate the tires. Seems like they were getting a little thin last time I checked

I changed my pads and rotors with duracrap when I bought my truck at 220k.... they'd been sitting for nearly a year. The rotor on my drivers side came off in three pieces thanks to the BFH. :smash:

2 years ago I replaced my warped OEM rotors with some Carquest/Advanced Auto Platinum rotors. Zero complaints.

BTW....instead of a hammer use the threaded holes and some bolts to walk the rotor right off the hub.

I started with the threaded holes... the rotors (both sides) were so warped/seized to the hub that the metal of the rotor cracked and gave out. Then the threaded holes were useless jagged holes.

I also have no complaints about the duralast so far, I had the gt street pads and rotors on my last car and loved them. I'm actually going to be doing the rear drums/shoes/hardware soon as well... now where did I put the BFH?
