When I was plowing I always used an interstate. Works fine for me. I don’t know if all these other batteries that’s 2 to 3 times as expensive Are worth it for a normal application

On edit, are usually get seven or eight years out of my stock batteries

Laptop on an inverter. Phone in a Ram mount, plugged in, charging, and providing Car Play to the Kenwood HU with Waze or Google Maps providing GPS. (waze has been sporadically wonky lately) A Duluth tote with a hard top to act as a writing surface, complete with a seatbelt slot to keep it from flying around. It's a pretty good set-up that has zero impact of visibility or access in the cab to things. And the Wet Okole's make the seats waterproof. Diggin it

Have you ever considered winterizing your truck if it isn't? I know most people kill their batteries here by letting them freeze, they're never really the same after that. You could do a battery heater or a battery tender for when it sits in the winter. Could run up the electric bill but usually people will put a timer on the outlet so it's only running 15 minutes every hour of so.

 

Nope, not doing that. It gets driven and lives in two seperate places depending on whether im driving my work truck or not. We’ve had a project going on so it sat. I usually start it every few days but it crapped out. My grand cherokee has sat for two months in the winter and starts right up. Battery is junk, it was already cranking hard before the winter hit so its due. I dont need it stranding me somewhere. Just wanted a master techs opinion on brand.
