I had what I feel like was a legitimate tire question I thought about posting but I think I'll hold off for now....

I was just wondering what I should be looking for in a tire (or specific tire recommendations) that will:

    Fit on the stock 16's
Give me a more aggressive look and be better in snow/ice
No cutting or anything that all you guys are doing to avoid rubbing
Don't want it to affect my fuel economy if possible

I'm not doing any offroading or lifting etc so I've searched around the site but guys here are hardcore so it's tough to judge what can apply to my basic needs!

Maybe even 3 or 4....just depends on how much you lift it :cookiemonster:

Might need to extend the spare tire holder chain though. Sweet new mod haha

Yes, c load would be fine ... it’s basically the what the stock/OEM tire are. I’m gonna go the next size up with 265/75/R16’s when mine wear out but want to stay with c load tires so unfortunately the KO2’s are out but they do look great!

My truck has scratched paint. Please explain in through detail, how this effects the tire size to gas mileage equation.

The KO2's have a great rating for Snow and ice; at lease from what I read on the tire information. Haven't tried it yet. MPG I can't say I've only had them for 2 days.I'll keep you posted after a month. I'm loving them so far.

    ...stuff
mud flaps do not need to be removed for that size.

I use nitto terra grapplers, C rated. Great in all conditions around me: rain, sand, dirt, rock, snow, ice.

I found if I run 255/85/r16 in the back and 265/75/r16 in the front I get the factory rake back and as a bonus I get 35 mpg!

Have fresh ko2’s on my 01. In snow they are amazing. For doing 360s and spinning the tires trying to get into the driveway.

I read that E load tires give less MPG, is that due to the extra "Velcro" LOL :boink:
