    Could one of you do me a HUGE favor and measure how tall the heatshield is around the filter? I got somethin brewin...;)

    Hey man, here is the short answer, depending on where you measure its either 1 ½ inches or 2 ¾ inches.

    Long answer: I am not sure that I understand exactly what you are asking. Also, as you can see in the attached pictures, the height of the heat shield around the filter changes. Furthermore, the intake system comes with adjustable mounts so it is possible to raise or lower the heat shield. Sorry if this is making things too complicated.

    Oh no I meant how tall the whole thing is. Like from where it meets the fender to the top.
