I still have my big truck. 2000 C2500 crew cab. The taco just does not compare w/ a 6600 lb rig for heavy hauling or highway work. Just did 1000 mile bidness trip in 36 hours. Taco would beat me to death on a pull like that, but is WAY more fun tearing ass around town.

If my taco holds up 1/4 as well as that old Chebby, I will be pleasantly surprised.

my 6.0 ford was fast.... but not from a start. 40mph+ would scoot. I'd be $50 my Taco would take my F250 6.0 from 0-60mph. 10,000# truck with turbo lag. Would barely burn the tires. The taco flat out has bottom end. puts the beat down on kneck jerking. In the end it doesn't matter (unless you were betting). Racing is fun, but it's to expensive these days to race your $50k car against a $4,200 Honda to prove a point. If you really want to prove something, take your car and $50 bills to the local 1/4 mile track. $50/min per run IMO.
