For those looking for a good place in NOVA to get work done

DOUBLLD found here in the forum recently worked on my Tacoma. He completed several repairs for a great price. I was quoted double the price at a local place in Chantilly, VA and they were doing less amount of work than what DOUBLLD did. He also took the initiative to address some other minor issues.

Hmm.. @DOUBLLD What does it cost for valve cover gasket replacement and possibly fuel neck filler or fuel pump gasket replacement for 1st gen tacoma? Could you kindly ping me please? I'm located in Gainesville

I recently noticed some stuttering under load in higher gears. Did some research and reached out to @DOUBLLD who recommended a new clutch, heavy duty flywheel and throw out bearing. (I'm at 78,500 miles.) URD was sold out and unfortunately Gadget didn't know when they'd be back in stock. After some research I went with the LC Engineering Pro Clutch kit, HD 40lb flywheel and TOB.

@DOUBLLD did my supercharger install years ago and did a phenomenal job, so naturally I asked him to do the clutch rebuild. Just like the SC install - the speed, quality, efficiency, price, craftsmanship, etc. all exceeded expectations. For any work on my truck above my paygrade, @DOUBLLD is the only person I trust. If you're in NOVA and hell, even if you're not, and want one of the best taking care of your rig, it's @DOUBLLD FTMFW! This Dude does amazing work!

 

I used this referral when looking for someone to work on my taco. I couldn't be happier! I basically just asked if he could look at it top to bottom and let me know if there is anything wrong other than some of the issues I noticed. Since I just bought it a couple weeks ago, I wanted to find someone to help me get it ready for my move out to Colorado sometime this year. I appreciate it a ton @DOUBLLD and excited to see how the truck looks/feels over the next few months!

@DOUBLLD have you done an ECGS Bushing? I have a feeling a noise I am getting is that busing...and I really don't want to be out on my driveway on this weather replacing it.

OK everyone in a few months I should be opening up my own shop. Hope to be able to work on many of the the vehicles in the area and take care if any of your needs.

 

Any update on your progress? My original stock tires are getting to replacement point, so I'm looking for new tires and potentially new wheels as well (*and* potentially moving winter tires from steelies to the old stock wheels + TPMS install if I still can). Do you do that?

 

I am 100% up and operational and taking appointments.

I currently don't have a tire machine. I'm in the market for one so I can offer that with the lift kits I do.
Also for people wondering most lifts are less than 2k installed by me! So no need to over pay for lesser quality work by other shops.
