im thinking of getting one of these to put on my truck for the winter, and it would come in handy when i go camping. from what i can tell, they look like a canvas type material, how long do these things hold up? i'd hate to spend all that money for something that will only hold up for a few years.

3-5 years on average, just like a jeep top. it is all depending on a ton of variables - if you take care of the fabric, what kind of exposure it sees (garage or not, open (desert) vs. cover(trees)), how often you have it up vs. rolled, etc. i can imagine you can stretch that out quite a bit considering those variables.
