On a scale from 1 to 20, how annoyed are you?

I just grease them when I change the front dif oil. A long hose helps also to do it between that.

I have 5 Zerks on my 2016 and a MillerCat shield. I remove the MillerCat once per year when I do oil changes to grease all 5 Zerks.

I don’t get too annoyed because I like to crawl underneath to check everything out.

Check out post #1 for pictures of the 5 Zerks.

30k, and the 2 zerks on the front drive shaft about 15k unless I’ve been through wet stuff. But don’t complain because you don’t own a first gen. Every single joint has zerks on those!

I'm not annoyed at all. I only have to worry about the rear driveshaft. The front u-joints are sealed on mine.

That's odd. We both have 2019s but on mine the two front joints are greasable

A ~9.0 I take the armor off and grease and touch up paint, fluids, oil change etc every year or so. Its not a daily driver.

You’re right, assuming his is four wheel drive. Never heard of that. The first gen’s had front and rear, but honestly, the worse I think is changing the oil. Ok and you’re right, dropping skid plates in the driveway isn’t fun. Are yours steel also?

My mistake, its the rear that is sealed. The front does have 2 zerks. Both of mine are accessible from the driver side though. I don't have to remove my skids at all. I have the full steel RCI kit too.

I remove all the skids before each winter to wash out the frame and touch up trail scars. I time one of the two oil changes and grease the zerks then. All but two of my skid plate bolts can be accessed with power tools, so it's OK.

Yeah, I can do the same with my Zerks. The longer hose helps.
