I have a 2017 OR 4x4, LB I stop by to check out the 2018's . He ask me if I wanted to trade my truck in. After looking at all of the tacomas on the lot I did not see anything I liked. They had no Long Beds and no trucks in Silver. He continued to follow me around the lot and I started asking him some questions. I was not impressed with his knowledge of the truck. He did not know the difference between the PT and JBL package. He had to go ask his manager or ask another employee. He did not know the type of lift or if it impacted the TSS technology. I started to leave out the door and he said I found a long bed but it is black and no PT/JBL. That is OK dude. he gave me his card and ask me why do you have to have the same color and configuration. Because it is the truck I want period. He ask me if he could call me if he found the truck I wanted. I told him I needed four things to make the deal happen the right configuration, 0 percent financing, dealership cost for my trade in, and the cost of the new truck.
