How much did you paid? And who did it? Was it the dealers, semi-reputable shop, or Crazy Joe's garage?

2".5 lift, HID head lamp and HID lights, color match tonneau cover and running board.
I have had ordered all the parts that needed for this jobs ( bearing, retainer ring, seals, oring ...etc). All i needed left is making the bearing puller for this job. Then waiting for it to leak. My truck has 110k miles on her clock with orginal rear bearing. I Checked the diff breather everytime i do oil change and greases up all the Ujoint.

I guess no one has have this service done?
Everywhere I go, is $350+ just labor. Does that sound decent?
    Dealers charges me $688.
The press at harbor freight is $159, but don't feel confident doing it myself if is going to require other special tools aside from the press.
I guess I'm just trying to physic myself into bitting the bullet and dish out the cash, which I have never done before for automotive repair.:(

This isnt an easy job, I would dish out the cash unless you have access to the right stuff

HF press would probably do it but your tool will have to fit and you may have to get creative

I did a write-up in the tech section

Hmmm i dont know about the rears but i had the fronts done on my wrecked taco and it cost me around $1200 at a local shop... High? yes, this is why you dont put off doing the bearing because mine exploded and took out the ABS sensor with it which was somthing stupid like $350 alone! Without that it prob would have been around 7-800.

go to a shop for sure. you will need a press and i have seen many people get hurt on a press if it isnt done correctly. so broken ribs or $350? i will pay the $350.
