Not sure where this will go, but I’m on the fence between BP51 and ADS (but I figure more people have installed Kings so I’m including those too).

I really only want to hear from those who have extensive experience with both BP51s as well as either King and / or ADS. So please, no loyalists! :duel:

And please explain the pros and cons BASED ON EXERIENCE and not based on technical data. I know Kings are awesome and BP51s have a smaller piston.

I’m going to buy something in the next couple weeks and I just can’t make a decision!

I've not used any of them. However, BP51's are pretty new to market still. So anyone who has them will still be new to them.

    Any feedback?
Why did you order kings? Were the BP51s lacking?

Still waiting on parts. I went long travel but the BP51s were fine though.

i was thinking i would go long travel and then went back to extended.
What kind of wheeling/crawling did you do with the bp51s?
    Any reason you wouldnt recommend?

Do the bp-51’s require rebuilding after 30k?

No personal experience with the BP51's, but aren't these actually 2.0 shocks? They look bigger due to the bypass chambers built into the body, but on the inside, they are still just a 2.0 shock. I think that's the only disadvantage they have; but of course if you're not pushing your truck hard, a 2.0 shock is all you really need.

I'm quite happy with my ADS shocks; soft on road ride, and off road they do a great job of soaking up whooped out forest roads. They are also very well built shocks, even the hose going to the reservoir is beefy.
