For those with a SnugTop Rebel, I have some questions

Could you PM me the dealer that you got that cap from. I live in San Diego too and I’m looking to get the same cap.

 

Sorry to chime in here, but does anyone not have the dealer installed keyless remote? I'm interested in installing a keyless system myself using the Pop N Lock PAL9772 Kit or PAL PAL9555 Kit (comes with lockable handle).

I really don't like camper shell companies messing with my wiring as I am nit picky about how clean my wiring jobs are (OCD Aircraft Mechanic).

I am also interested in installing PAL9555 Kit on my snug top rebel cap. Im wondering if it automatically pops open once the truck is unlocked, or is it still a twist to open mechanism for the window? Any insight would be a huge help.

I was just at the Snugtop dealer, the kit only locks and unlocks the shell. It won't pop it open automatically.

 

Has anyone tried the Pop and lock PAL9555 on there shell glass door? how does it work?

 

Looking for a 5’ MGM snugtop for a 3rd gen. Hard to find used...

Just scored this 1 year old Rebel with a Prinsu on CraigsList so they’re out there. You got to set up a CL search to your email.

 

Has anyone here had to replace their back glass? Mine shattered this morning and need a replacement ASAP, closest dealer gave me a 6 month lead time. Any ideas?

 

Maybe see if you can find a cheap used snugtop with a window you could just take off?

I’m going into month #4 of waiting for my ARE cap to be delivered and they still can’t even tell me an estimated ship date, so it seems like all the cap dealers are seriously backed up.
