Funny how many of us have a Pilot as a second car. And, yeah, the Taco would totally go before the Pilot. Pilot has fewer miles, better gas mileage, third-row seat, and it can go probably 70% of the places the Taco can go.

I guess the Taco would have to go, but which one? the 13' DCLB Sport, or the 11'DCLB Sport?

If I could only own one vehicle it would be (was and is) a Tacoma. When I could only afford one vehicle I bought the Tacoma new. Once it was paid off I bought a Mazda RX7; my dream car. I owned both of them for two years till I paid off the RX7 too. I sold the RX7 so I could get married and buy a house. One day, we'll be together again....*sigh*

But seriously, the guy I sold it too is older and said he'd sell it back to me when he's had it for long enough.

    2009 Tacoma
    2016 Yamaha Fz07

Sonata would be gone in a heartbeat...I wouldn't even blink.

How you like that FZ-07? Been out of the bike game awhile but have been considering a dual sport (drz400sm) for commuting and a little fun. Always been a Yamaha guy and that FZ-07's price tag caught my eye. I've always loved the street-fighter look of the naked bikes as well.

And on subject, Taco would have to go. A single cab, 4 cylinder just doesn't have all the capability/practicality I always need.

I love it. I've always been a fan of naked bikes myself, they're all I've owned (except for the few months I had a R1).

I'd definitely recommend taking the FZ-07 for a test ride if you're looking at a new DRZ. Price is about the same, but you'd have way more fun commuting on the FZ. Front wheel comes up on command on the FZ if that's one of the reasons why you're considering the DRZ and feels just as light....sorry for the thread jack. I love motorcycles...

I hate to say it, but I think we would have to sell the taco. The other vehicle is a 2014 Durango R/T. It's great on long trips and has a nice towing capacity if we need it. It has a bluray DVDs player entertainment for te kiddies too.

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
98 ranger single cab - First to go
    07 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 - Second
    07 Chevy Aveo - Third
    15 Jeep JKU - Fourth
14 TRD OR DC - Never!

But really though. It is hard to find a vehicle that is more versatile than the Tacoma. That is one reason we are all here. Yes, you can get more bells and whistles, better fuel mileage, increased hauling capacity, better payload ect. but not all in one vehicle. When it comes down to it, the Tacoma might not be the best in any of these categories but I can not think of another vehicle that does them all as well. Just my 2 cents.

Hmmm...this would be a hard one. I guess our 07 Odyssey could go. Kids are older and we don't NEED it like we used to. That leaves us with our '16 RX350 or the '14 Taco. I love the versatility of the Taco, but it can't touch the comfort level of the RX. I'm glad this is a hypothetical question. Having to really do this would suck cause I know the wife wouldn't give up the RX without a fight! :)

If I could only keep one of my cars I would give up my commuter RAV4. The RAV4 isn't the best for towing and the Tacoma is so much more versatile but it would look like crap in a few months because I work in a area where it is acceptable to destroy other's property (I may be a little bitter because I have another dent and paint damage on my commuter as of tonight). If you care for your vehicle and want to operate it for a long time avoid NYC like the plague otherwise a Sherman tank would be suitable...

I would have to keep the Tacoma, wouldn't miss the car (camry) but I would miss the bike (cbr600rr).

Cherokee? Definitely better looking then the Pilot, like the look of Jeep.

if I had one kid would probably go with the Jeep too. But two kids the pilots size comes in handy.

It would depend on why I needed to give up a vehicle.

I did ditch my Tacoma for a T4R & kept a BMW. Now the BMW is gone and I have a Camry for a spare & use the T4R as my DD.

2009 Grand Cherokee Lacrapo. Only reason we bought it was because we got it from a local bank repo. It checked out at the mechanics shop and we got a good deal.
I don't really like the new Pilot. Looks like the Chevy Traverse. :puke: But if I could find a clean Pilot and buy my wife some jewelry to talk her into it, maybe just maybe, I could pull a rabbit out of my ass and get into a better brand.

The Tacoma would stay, my RX330 would go. The RX is a great vehicle, it just has no soul. Every time I drive the truck, it puts a smile on my face and I see all of the mods that I can do over time. Of course, I have missed owning a Toyota truck ever since I got rid of my '87 ExtraCab 4x4 in the early 90's.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
We'd give up my girlfriend's TJ. And by give up, I mean turn it into a rock crawler because I'm tired of dealing with keeping the check engine light off.

Yeah the new pilot will have to grow on me! Kinda looks like a crv and odyssey did the nasty after a few too many drinks and the pilot was the result.
