I'm running my Costway fridge on it...single battery. What is a good battery upgrade to get for this? I'm aware while camping I'll have to start the truck up every so often. Wondering what you're running. Thx

I have a Bosch 94R AGM 80AH battery. It runs fridge and lighting and have never had power issues with it. It's a pretty big battery.

    Thanks, Robert.

I'm running a single Northstar AGM 27F, no solar or external charger. I run a CSI fridge 24/7 and the longest I've gone without starting it was close to 48 hours. It was sluggish to start, but still started fine.

    Some of the things...
I jumped to a sams club (duracell) group 31 agm and its been stellar in addition to my 100w sollar panel. I left my truck at dia and forgot to unplug the fridge. It went 5 days running the fridge in the colorado summer heat and fired right up when I got back. The group 31 will fit but is heavy. Basically going to an agm is a good 1st step but there are tons of group 24 and 27 options and lots of people will have different opinions.

Northstar 27F. The best AGM battery that will fit in the stock holder imo.

Yeah...I'm reading the Northstar 27 is a solid choice.

You might want an AGM as it charges faster and can handle deeper cycling. But overall a SLA is a SLA despite the thrashing I’m about to receive.

Order and pay online for local pickup at Batteries+. Be sure to use the discount code when you pay. Take in your junk battery and pick up your new battery. Get the rebate form and mail it in. You'll get the $20 rebate check in about a month.
