    Truth. I don't know much about beadlocks. Except I heard they aren't dot approved? Which means street legality... is questionable?

    There really isn't much maintenance involved. The nice thing about the nuts that hold the halves together is that they are split and act as a locking washer. I tightened the wheels the first time and tightened them again after 100 miles. I haven't had to tighten them again since and I've been on two off road trips and added about 1000 miles on them.

    I will get to a build thread soon. I've just been swamped with work but our season so slowly winding down. Once I get some free time to take pictures and post I will do so.

    Hutchinsons vs Volks

    For offroad the beadlocks are better. You can't beat beadlocks on both inner and outer beads. The only down fall of this wheel is its weight. Other than that these wheels are awesome.

    The Volks are a stronger and lights than the Hutchinsons. Hutchinsons are cast aluminum while the Volks are forged aluminum. They only weigh 18 lbs compared to 48 lbs. The only thing that the Hutchinsons are better for is off road. Other than that the Volks are better in every way.


    I would give it to him but Rob was first in line. If that doesn't work out then Shiz can have it. I'm just being fair.
