I tell you something...I often questioned what I paid for my used 2013 in March of 2015. I kept wondering why a truck so expensive didn't even have a power seat or heated mirrors as an option. Then it hit me...I had an 04 Colorado...there was always something wrong with it and I'm not even kidding. The Tacoma replaced the Colorado. THAT's why this steed was so pricey...you do get what you pay for.

Somewhere else in the world there is an argument going on between a Honda owner and a Harley owner...I'll take my Toyota and Honda over any GM or Harley any day.

Yeah only Ram was willing to give him 0% over 7 years. He's Canadian however it isn't much better up here. The Vancouver area has stupidly expensive housing and people are incurring more and more debt.

0 percent, no or low money down. People are just crazy and stupid with things. Isn't that how America got into trouble?

Nailed it. To me, this is exactly why I moved from full size to Tacoma. I don't get the people that say "why didn't you just buy a full size for that price". The answer is exactly what was stated above. Plus, while expensive, my Tacoma was still cheaper than a similarly equipped full size.

I prefer a manual and Toyota is the only to offer that in higher trims. Resale will be higher. Reliability will be higher. Cost of ownership will be less. The Tacoma offers more than enough capability for me.

I got a tundra instead of a 3rd Gen. I like it but sometimes wish I got a little lexus is-f and kept my tacoma. Taco trade in value + used IS-F would be about the cost of my tundra. Oh well.

Yeah, I guess I forgot about the Frontier. It's such an old design and had read too many shortcomings. The 2500+ ram is waaaaay to big for my needs!

Haha I can see someone who is educated a mile away. $888 to be exact.

Single income, 2 kids, decent job but not great. But I want it now mentality.

I blame the money from Mainland China more. A lot of the schemes from Mainland China have been exposed (just in time for an election).

In reality MOST people here in the US with really poor credit buy used cars from small used car dealers who also provide financing. They sell an $8,000 car for $10,000 financed at 15% or more. They don't care if you don't make payments because they repo them very quickly and sell them again. Some cars get sold 3-5 times in one year.

Aummm Nissan Frontier. I had one of those as my rental earlier this year. When I said I was getting a new truck and wanted my wife's opinion, she continued to say, get what you need an want, it yours. Well I brought home the rental and told every one we were test driving it to see if this is what we wanted. My wife got in and said NO WAY this is a P.O.S.

    I agree.

    That is what I thought

I never heard of people with poor credit buying $75000 trucks for almost $900 a month
