Bilstein 6112 front / 5100 rear (extended) shocks, Headstrong AAL, Firestone airbags, 4.88 gears, OME Carrier bearing drop kit, Aluminum 1/4" skids (engine to transfer). Custom sliders (1.75" HREW tube w/ 3/16" base plates). Custom front bumper and high clearance rear bumper (1/4" steel plate, 1.75" tube.) Apex 5500 winch w/synthetic line (36lbs) and required accessories for an underpowered winch (snatch blocks and extra line.) Tekonsha P3 brake controller, remote start, any-time-backup camera w/ front facing camera, Leer 100R shell (w/e-track single slot tie-down mounts for removable Yakima EasyTop.) Cat shields by CaliRaised. Husky liners, window tint, heated seat (passenger only.) Relentless bed rail brackets with QuickFists (shovel/axe/fire extinguisher.) Hondo Garage Un-holey vent mount. Anytime rear with front facing camera. Billet front seat risers. Viair 88p. 265/75r16 Goodyear Ultra-terrain tires.
It sounds like we 3rd gen owners will have FI option(s) soon-ish.

While waiting on updates and any glimmer of product details... what are some wise updates/upgrades that can be performed?

Preferably only options that won't require changing/redo once the kits do come available.

Upgrade your clutch or install a valve body/shift kit if you have an auto. Other than that, not sure what else you could do beforehand without knowing what the FI kits include

Start buying premium gas now so you'll be familiar with the pain of having to pay for premium gas

I've been doing it for so long now that I don't even acknowledge the price of 87 or 89, I go by the price of 91. Which always throws off my wife

And no, you can't just add those octane boosters to your gas and call it good. You need a least a dozen of the best ones to increase octane by one or two points. There are one or two you can buy online that are legit but they are $$$

No but you could probably loose a limb or two that way if you're unlucky

I have no idea, i have a 2nd gen manual, i just know that the valve body upgrade is popular among 2nd supercharged owners. Id imagine theres something out there for yall. Might try checking ratioteks website

I would invest in traction bars on the rear, axel wrap is a problem in these trucks now just imagine when they have FI
