Haven't heard this before. What is fake about the videos? Legitimately interested to hear this.

What isn't fake? It is like the Tundra that was working on the farm for a year then Toyota tore it down and says everything it looked new.

In real life the 3.5 has surge issues and the MPGs suck worse than the V8 when towing.

Ecoboosf is a badass motor, no issues with it at my dealership or through the ford hotline. Only real complaints i heard is from two different individual customers saying that the motor runs too smooth that often it feel like its not running at all even tho obviously it is.

It is twin turbo and no boost isn't an issue when towing.

I'm sure Ford did some "editing" in the videos, but I'd venture it's a stretch to call them "fake". I don't think the Tundra video was fake either...I'm sure the truck was taken care of, meticulously serviced, etc. Neither here nor there.

I have read about the MPG while towing. Can't say I'm surprised, I'm sure a small motor in a big truck, no matter what kind of power adder it has, is working pretty hard while towing. I will say I've driven one for an extended period (few days) and was extremely impressed with the overall daily driveability of the motor. Super smooth, tons of power, and I got 20.5 mpg average (80% freeway, 20% city). I won't argue the towing argument, but for everyday driving, it's legit.

i was talking more about long term engine wear and cooling issues after a few years. Henry Ford would bitch slap a twin turbo truck its unAmerican lol

If built and tuned right there are no issues.

I can tell you haven't driven their 6.2L Gasser or their 6.7L Diesel.
