What kind of person would put Ford decals on a Tundra? I saw a Tundra on the hwy yesterday with 4x4 decals on the top rear of the bed. I had to look twice because I had never seen them before. When I looked closer I recognized as the standard Ford decals. At least they were not the off road ones.

They just say 4x4, right? Nothing about 'Ford' per se? And the Tundra actually was a 4wd?

So, what does it matter? You and 6 other people in town might actually figure that out.

If I was into stickers, and I liked the look of those better (font, size, color, etc.) I'd have no problem putting them on.

Or anything else I liked from any other marquee for that matter.

It was a 4x4 so not as tacky as putting 4x4 stickers on a 2wd which I have seen. You are correct that most people would not recognize as Ford stickers. Just thought it a little weird that someone would put Ford decals on a Tundra. I guess he liked the look.

Like the angled ones that come on the 3/4 tons that just say 4x4. Who cares? People slap old Toyota emblems on their brand new tacomas all the time

I remember Caddys had hood ornaments and people would steal them and wear on a chain

I once saw a Ford emblem on a Hyundai that was really a Honda pretending to be a Toyota.
