Motorcraft oil filters are really quite good. I would have no problem leaving it on the truck until the next oil change.

Ever since i started working for a Ford dealer ive been using the 910S and synthetic blend oil. No issues, very good filter, plus i get a discount so its like $13 for a diy oil change.

I always ran nothing but Motorcraft products on my mustangs (spark plugs, oil filters, etc) and never had one problem. I always thought Motorcraft was good quality.

Motorcraft makes a handful of filters and what not for my first gen that meets oem spec. I had a sweet hookup through ford for a while for motorcraft stuff so I ran alot of motorcraft stuff. No issues with quality. I even have a motorcraft brand super duty battery in my truck right now and its doing great.

How many factories do you people think there are in this world that make oil filters? Toyota does not have a oil filter factory, neither does Ford or GM. There are probably a half dozen facilities that will crap out Napa filters this morning, switch to Motorcraft this afternoon and later today will be doing Jiffy Jube filters.

In fact the majority of things you buy are not made by the people that stuck a logo on the box.

I once worked for MATCO making those high-dollar tool boxes. And, guess what? We also spit out stuff for Sears Craftsman on the night shift...

Isn't that the truth. I was busting balls. I'm cool with it. I just thought it was funny and that's all. It was all in fun and joking. I was @chertzog the day I took the pic. And said I'm uploading this. We both laughed at it. He said the samething most of u did. I'll keep it on till next oil change.

Ford filters are good filter. They have a silicone bypass valve. They are all I ever used in my Fords. I put the FL-400 in my daughters Liberty.

Red lettering is the only brand filters I use! Go big red!

Actually Motorcraft filters are pretty good. Not made in USA, but good filters.

Glad to hear the OP was made just for fun... we might have had a war in here!

Also, we still need a sarcasm font for these BS threads that are not initially presented as BS.

Fix or repair daily. Buy a case of Toyota filters. Cheap and good.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I don’t see the problem, I’ve ran motorcraft filters on my truck numerous times and no problems. In fact, I’ll be screwing on a FL400s this weekend when I do my change! It’s the upsized version of the 910s and it’s convenient to find, nearest Toyota dealer is hundreds of miles away so getting a OEM isn’t exactly easy for me.
If it meets the specs it’ll work fine and remember, the best oil filter is the air filter! A poorly designed air filter is more of a concern than the cheapest oil filter.
